While ‘up north we decided to visit Auntie Katherine
and take Alistair on his first trip north of the border.
   

While in Edinburgh Steve was very excited to visit the Scottish parliament…
  
…bu as you can see Alistair was not as enthralled!

We also went over to Glasgow to see two of Steve’s uni friends,
Pete and Ailsa, and their new offspring!
    

Our summer holidays began with a trip to Northumberland
which we shared with Alistair’s four godparents…
 
 
…Alison, Mark, Pippa and Adam!

We enjoyed a trip to the Alnwick Gardens…
   

…took a ride on the Heatherslaw Railway and visited the corn mill…
   

…had lots of fun on the beach…
    
    

…and even tried some Crazy Golf!
